Privacy Policy for Every Wag

Oh Rover, LLC ("Oh Rover," "Every Wag," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our mobile and web application, Every Wag (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • 1.1 Personal Information:

    • Name

    • Email address

    • Location (if permission granted)

    • Pet-related data (e.g., pet name, breed, weight, health logs, photos)

  • 1.2 Automatically Collected Information:

    • Device and usage information (e.g., device type, OS, app usage, app version)

    • IP address

    • Analytics data via Mixpanel. This may include unique device identifiers and specific actions you take within the App, such as screens visited, buttons clicked, to identify bugs and usability issues. You can opt-out of this collection at any time in the App Settings.

  • 1.3 User-Generated Content:

    • Notes, photos, and logs you input related to your pets

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve the App's functionality

  • Customize user experience based on species and health data

  • Send notifications, reminders, and updates

  • Generate pet care summaries and insights

  • Communicate via email (e.g., onboarding, tips, promotions via MailerLite)

  • Analyze app usage to improve performance and usability 

  • To identify bugs and usability issues 

 
3. Sharing of Information

 

We respect your privacy and will never sell your personal information.

 

​We may share your information in the following ways:

  • With trusted services we use to run the app, like MailerLite (for emails) and Mixpannel (for behavioral analytics). Because these providers are located in the United States, your information may be transferred to and stored on servers outside of your home country. These companies are under agreements to keep your data safe and only use it for the services we ask them to provide. 

  • With people you choose to share your pet’s care with, like a family member or caretaker, but only if you invite them and give them permission.

  • If required by law, such as if we are responding to a legal request or need to protect your safety or the safety of others.

 

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information:

  • With third-party service providers (e.g., MailerLite, Mixpanel) under confidentiality agreements

  • With co-owners or caretakers only when you explicitly assign them access

  • As required by law or to protect rights and safety

4. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed for legal or operational purposes. You can request deletion at any time via privacy@everywag.com.

 
5. Your Choices and Rights
​

  • You can update or delete pet profiles and personal information

  • You can opt out of marketing emails at any time

  • You can revoke location permission through your device settings

  • You can Opt-Out of Analytics behavioral tracking at any time via the Settings page in the App. This will stop data collection by Mixpanel.

 
6. Security

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted connections, secure authentication protocols, and regular system monitoring.

However, no method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will promptly investigate and notify affected users in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We also maintain an internal incident response plan to address such breaches and take corrective action to prevent future occurrences.

7. Children's Privacy
​

The Every Wag App is intended for use by adults. Children under 13 should not use the App without parental consent and supervision. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. 8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We'll notify users of material changes by email or through the App.
