Absolutely not. Care Connect is built to operate as a lightweight, specialized clinical operating and aftercare layer. It functions cleanly right alongside your current PIMS without forcing a messy software replacement. If your PIMS runs in the browser, the free Care Connect Bridge Chrome extension puts Care Connect in a side panel right next to it.
Care Connect Bridge lets you transfer information between your PIMS and Care Connect seamlessly and access Care Connect workflows all from your browser-based PIMS. It is our free Chrome extension that every Care Connect clinic can use.
It opens Care Connect in a side panel within a browser-based PIMS so staff can search clients, patients, and today's visits, auto-fill or copy mapped client, patient, and SOAP fields into the PIMS, and import new clients and patients back into Care Connect. Client and patient field mapping happens automatically as your team works to help find or add records more efficiently. On-premise, desktop-only PIMS are not supported yet.

An Active Client is any client record that has had activity within the last 18 months. Activity includes scheduled visits, exams, guide assignments, recovery monitoring, file uploads, and messages. Inactive clients beyond the 18-month window don't count toward your limit.
