Care before software
The product is only useful if it helps real veterinary teams deliver clearer care with less avoidable friction.
About Every Wag
Care Connect helps veterinary teams keep the visit, the record, the care plan, and recovery follow-through connected from the first form to the last home update.
Every Wag started with a simple experience that felt far too familiar: leaving a veterinary hospital with a pet we loved, a lot of anxiety, and instructions that had to survive real life at home.
Lauren grew up around veterinary medicine with a veterinarian father, a veterinary technician mother, and a clinic on the family farm. Josh has spent his life building software and loving dogs. Together, we saw the same gap from both sides: clinics work incredibly hard to deliver care, then lose visibility exactly when owners need the most help following through.
After our dog Gryffin's emergency splenectomy, we had questions about his incision, activity, medications, and what was normal. We were lucky to have veterinary family we could call. Most owners do not.
That experience became Every Wag for pet owners and Care Connect for clinics. The mission has grown from better aftercare into a broader workflow: prepare the visit, document the care, send the plan, support recovery, and keep the owner relationship connected between visits.
We are a small team with no outside investors. The product is shaped by the clinics doing the work, the owners trying to do right by their pets, and the belief that good veterinary care should not disappear at the front door.
Lauren & Josh, Co-Founders, Every Wag
The product is only useful if it helps real veterinary teams deliver clearer care with less avoidable friction.
Owners, managers, doctors, technicians, and reception teams all feel the gaps around the visit. Care Connect has to respect their time.
The record, the care plan, the client app, and recovery visibility should reinforce each other instead of living in separate silos.
We are a small founder-led team, and the product is personal for us. Clinics work directly with the people deciding what Every Wag becomes next.
Lauren grew up in the world of veterinary medicine. With a veterinarian father, a veterinary technician mother, and a clinic right on the family farm, she learned early on that great care is about more than medicine; it's about the entire experience.
She combines this lifelong perspective with years of product leadership to keep Every Wag anchored in how clinics actually work: fast, often unpredictable, and dependent on everyone working in sync. Her focus is on solving the real problems that help staff enjoy their work and clients feel informed and connected to their care.
At Every Wag, Lauren keeps the product experience grounded in the needs of the entire team: doctors, technicians, managers, and the pet owners who rely on them every day.
Josh has spent his career building robust software, but Every Wag grew from a deeply personal experience: navigating the stress of pet aftercare and understanding how much clarity matters when an owner is home alone with a recovering pet.
He leads the engineering behind Care Connect and the Every Wag app, building a cohesive system that bridges the gap between scheduling, clinical records, and recovery. He focuses on creating tools that integrate seamlessly into existing clinic operations.
Josh's goal is to build software that simply works - eliminating duplicate administrative steps, reducing communication gaps, and creating a smoother, more reliable path from the clinic visit to home care.
