Gryffin

Gryffin crossed the rainbow bridge on August 22nd, surrounded by his family. He passed away after a three-month battle with cancer, and true to his spirit, he enjoyed those months fully, never slowing down until his very last day.

He spent his golden years in Ohio with his grandparents, where he developed a taste for fine dining and expected a snack after every walk. Earlier this year, Gryff “retired” to Florida, where his days were filled with walks to the water, squirrel-watching, and biscuits from his favorite coffee stand.

Gryffyn was a sweet and gentle soul who loved his pets, as long as you did them the right way. If not, he would promptly let you know you needed to improve. Though descended from royalty, he was often less than regal; sleeping with his neck bent at improbable angles, snoozing with his tongue hanging out, and burping more than any dog rightfully should.

What he lacked in grace, he more than made up for in charm. His doofy, lovable spirit won hearts everywhere he went, and he always left behind a little piece of himself, and plenty of hair. Gryffin is now reunited with his old friend, Barley.

He will be dearly missed.
