Denver

Today the world lost the best little gentleman. Denver, affectionately called John by some of his closest friends, went peacefully over the Rainbow Bridge surrounded by his family earlier this morning. He got one last morning walk in the sun.

Hailing from Slovakia at the ripe old age of 13 he lived in Germany for a few years before retiring to Florida. He loved meeting new people and traveling by train. The train gave him more opportunities to get pets and lick new surfaces. He loved taking in the tastes and smells of the local culture.

Denver was a quiet little guy who used his charm, gentle smile, and tail wags to patiently (mostly) entice pets. He loved his morning walks, getting in new smells along the way, and rolling in soft warm grass. He enjoyed long naps, especially in the sun, eating good food, and visiting local establishments for hands to stroke him.

He will forever be remembered as a very, very good boy.
